Manufacturing
Prescon™ sensors are made with a variety of thick
film polymers, thick film polymer inks and substrate
materials, all made by proprietary processes. Many
of the sensors are manufactured in a manner that allows
the sensor to be relatively flat and thin over a geometric
areea as compared to a mechanical or machined sensor.
Many of the sensors can be completely sealed for operation
under severe environmental conditions. They can be
adapted to almost any design and application requirement
due to thier uniqueness.
Sensor Designs
The illustrations below are only a few of the Prescon
designs. The sensors can be produced in almost any
design and size in order to meet your specifications.
This Prescon sensor is a
combination of printed circuit board
and polyester film. It is approximately
.05" thick with a sensing area
of 1/2" diameter.
