Crystalline Energy Research

A paradigm shift in electrical energy storage. Crystalline Energy Research (CER) a division of IMR has discovered an environmentally safe new material composition that will help us move towards energy independence and create positive environmental change.  Air emissions, depletion of natural resources, thermal pollution, noise, and hazardous materials that end up in our landfills could be drastically reduced.

IMR believes that upon completion of the research and development it will be able to produce an energy storage device that will revolutionize the multi-billion dollar electrical energy storage industries.

This new energy storage device weighing less than any energy storage device in existence today could power a new electric car to go further than current technology.  Laptops and cell phone charges would last longer than current battery technology.  Compared to present day devices the following could be obtained:

  1. Capacitors and batteries could be drastically smaller.
  2. They could have greater energy density and storage capacity.
  3. The cost of manufacturing could greatly decrease.
  4. They could have an increased high temperature operating range.
This new composition (“super-ferroelectric”) has shown to exhibit an apparent dielectric constant greater than any present industry known ceramic dielectric capacitor and electric charge storing material.

Current stage of development
The “super-ferroelectric” prototype material has yielded promising results. It is the goal of CER to continue research and development to determine the remaining elements, chemical modifiers and processing conditions necessary to manufacture revolutionary capacitors and batteries.
